The Italian club refused to pay 35 million euros for the Ukrainian
Atalanta tried to buy Shakhtar winger Mikhail Mudrik during the summer transfer window.
The Bergamasks made a request for the Ukrainian midfielder, but in the end they could not satisfy Shakhtar’s financial requests and refused the deal. According to a source, last summer the Miners demanded 35 million euros for Mudrik, and now this amount has grown to 50 million.
Earlier it was reported that Shakhtar is ready to sell Mudrik for at least 60 million euros. Several representatives of the Premier League claimed the Ukrainian – Everton, Arsenal, Brentford, Brighton. Newcastle are ready to pay 50 million euros for Mudrik.
The winger has made 10 appearances for Shakhtar in all competitions this season, scoring 5 goals and providing 7 assists.
Atalanta ranks second in Serie A. In the next match, the team played by Ukrainian Ruslan Malinovsky will host Lazio on October 23.
