Ukrainian tennis player Lyudmila Kichenok came out in quarter-finals at the WTA 1000 tournament in Guadalajara (Mexico) in doubles.
In the second round, the Ukrainian in a duet with Alena Ostapenko from Latvia beat Linda Frugvirtova/Kaya Kanepi (Czech Republic/Estonia) in three sets.
In the quarterfinals, Kichenok and Ostapenko will face the top seeded Czechs Barbora Kreychikova and Katerina Sinyakova in the tournament.
Recall that Lyudmila Kichenok in tandem with the Latvian Elena Ostapenko got into the top 8 best couples of the season ahead of schedule and were selected for the WTA Final Tournament.
