Franck Ribery has announced his retirement from football. The Salernitana midfielder announced this on his social network page.
“The ball stopped, but the feelings inside me did not. Thank you all for this wonderful adventure,” the 39-year-old Frenchman wrote on his Instagram.

Remember that Ribery started his professional career in 2000 at the Boulogne club from his hometown of Boulogne-sur-Mer. After that, the footballer defended the colors of the French clubs Ales, Brest, Metz and Marseille, as well as the Turkish Galatasaray.
But the longest and most successful period for Ribery was the performance for Bayern. In Munich, the Frenchman played from 2007 to 2019. After that, the midfielder managed to play in Italy for Fiorentina and Salernitana.
