From October 19 to 22, Kazan will host the All-Russian Forum of School Sports Clubs “School sports – the path to success for every child”. The Russian Football Union (RFU) will present the Football at School project at the forum, according to the organization’s website.
The objective of the forum is to form a new content of educational activities for the development of school sports clubs and the exchange of experiences between the educational community in the field of physical education and sports.
More than a thousand people are expected to participate in the forum. Among them: heads and representatives of federal and regional executive authorities (Ministry of Education, Ministry of Sports), All-Russian sports organizations, representatives of universities, school principals, teachers of physical education and others.
The head of the Football at school project, Tatyana Bukurova, will give a presentation on the theme “An integrated approach to the development of football in educational institutions within the framework of the Football at school project” on October 20 on the platform thematic “The role of all -Russian sports federations in the development of school sports clubs and school sports leagues” “.
On October 21, a master class will be held with the participation of former Russian national team striker Andrey Arshavin and head coach of the Russian women’s junior and junior U-17 national teams Valentin Gavva to lead a physical education lesson based on football in primary school (football for boys and girls).
