Usyk visited the Lithuanian Consulate in the USA

The boxer handed over the flag with the signatures of Ukrainian servicemen

WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO Heavyweight Champion Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) visited the branch of the Lithuanian Consulate in Los Angeles.

The Ukrainian boxer handed over to the Consulate staff the flag of Lithuania with the signatures of the Ukrainian servicemen who are now on the front line.

“Handing over the flag, Usyk expressed his sincere gratitude to Lithuania and its people for the constant support, unity and assistance to the Ukrainians who suffered from Russian aggression. The consulate team had the opportunity to learn more about the world of boxing, which is much more colorful than it might seem at first glance.

Recently, the Oleksandr Usyk Foundation held a charity evening with a charity auction in the USA. The main lot of the auction was a sculpture of a boxing glove, which was created by the famous Lithuanian sculptor Sigitas Sniras.

Usyk also became an ambassador for the UNITED24 program. One of the tasks of the Ukrainian boxer will be the direction “Restoration of Ukraine”.

Early on the morning of February 24, Russia launched rocket and air strikes on most Ukrainian cities and then launched a full-scale military invasion. Russia’s war against Ukraine has been going on for 241 days.
