This did not save the Ukrainian team from defeat to St. Johnston
Ukrainian striker Nikolai Kukharevich scored the debut goal for hibernian in the match of the 12th round of the Scottish Premier League with St. Johnstone.
The Ukrainian came out in the starting lineup of the hosts. In the first half, Nikolai opened the scoring in the match, accurately blocking Chris Cadden’s serve with his head.
The effective action of Kukharevich did not save Hibernian from defeat. In the second half, Nicholas Clarke and Stevie May got a strong-willed victory for St. Johnstone. Note that by this time Kukharevich had left the field (the Ukrainian had previously received a yellow card). And Hibernian was left with ten men – the second “yellow card” was earned by Kyle Magennis.
The 21-year-old Kukharevich has five fights for Hibernian. The Ukrainian scored an assist in his debut game for the Scottish club.
Hibernian have suffered their third defeat in a row and are third in the Scottish Premier League. In the next match, Kuharevich’s team will host St. Mirren on October 29.
