Already traditional:
- read soon on our website the symbolic team of the next round
- interview with the hero of the tour, which the Sport Arena determines from the PFL
And now – our individual nominations:

Obolon is the leader and one of the favorites of the tournament, however, in the Poltava region, it suffered its second defeat of the season. The debutant of the tournament – SK Poltava – played as tightly and compactly as possible, brilliantly used a quick transition from defense to attack and an advantage in space. Thanks to sharp flank attacks, the home team scored both goals, and the artificial field did not interfere with their combinational work. The victory over the leader allowed SK Poltava to leave the last place.
Analysis from the All-Ukrainian Association of Football Coaches – here.

This is a great tour for the players who came on as substitutes – Lviv resident Makhnev is generally the hero of the tour with his winning goal at the price of second place, Khamelyuk and Tyapkin perfectly strengthened the LNZ, Yanakov scored the third (final) goal from Polesie, and Poltava Bychkov gave a decisive assists Our laureate saved his team from defeat in Uman, because before the protracted air raid Skoruk led the score – and it was Bondar who scored from Matveev’s pass in the second half.
Sport Arena stats: 2 league matches, 1 goal.

The 19-year-old winger finally opened the scoring with his goals in the First League (and he had such moments in almost every previous match), but even this is not the main thing. Kostenko excels in daring one-on-one play, covers space with ease and has the makings to progress further. This makes Yan one of the most promising players in the PFL competition, but this status must be justified by such matches – with goals, assists, specific effective actions.
Sport Arena stats: 8 matches in the championship, 1 goal.
The reporting round poses difficult tasks for us: try it – choose the best goal if we had such gorgeous goals as a luxurious free kick from Chernenko from Obolonka or a spectacular throw from Kremenchuzhan Bondar. However, the First League has not yet accustomed us to heads with the fifth point, but will soon accustom us – after all, besides our laureate, by some miracle Poltava player Streltsov did not hit the goal with a heel kick (this is a goal that did not take place!). Quoting the report: “It seemed that Shinkarenko got into a stalemate on the right flank, but managed to connect Pidruchny, whose mid-height serve Vladislav Gorbachenko somehow managed to close with a fifth or even fifth point – 0:1 in the 7th minute. A debut goal for the Pitmen’s rookie forward – and just like that!”.
Goal can be seen on video from 0:59

Read later on our website an interview with the player who scored the winning goal in the Ternopil Niva derby at the very end of the match after coming on as a substitute.
Sport Arena stats: 8 league matches, 1 goal.
“I have dreamed about this moment all my life!” Niva Makhnev admitted after the Karpaty match. Head coach Andriy Tlumak congratulates Dmitry on the winning goal in stoppage time of the second half. Photo: fckarpaty.org.ua
Kremen’ 200th match in the First League: +54=34-112 goals 206-334.
A few more interesting things:
- Luxurious playing period for the leader of Group A: Polissya does not concede goals in the First League for a record 580 minutes for the club, holds two home series: without a draw, lasting 8 games (7 wins and losses) and scoring (14 matches, 28 goals)
- The 150th match in the First League was played by Artem Terekhov (Obolon), the 100th by Bogdan Bychkov (Poltava), the 50th by Arsenty Doroshenko, Oleg Khrustavka (both Niva)
- Niva lost for the first time upon returning to the post of acting. head coach Sergei Zadorozhny
More interesting things – in the digital selection of the PFL, whose information partner is Sport Arena.
