The decision was taken by the board after a meeting in the beginning of the night of this Monday, 24. The Leão da Ilha was defeated by 3 to 0 by the palm treeslast Saturday, for the Brazilian Championship.
Lisca was announced by Avaí on September 13, as Eduardo Barroca’s replacement. He delivers the position with just 14.2% of success in seven matches: one victory (in his debut) and six consecutive defeats in the Brasileirão. In all, there were three goals scored and 16 conceded in the period.
For the sequence of the championship, already in the match against Cuiabá, this Thursday (27), for the 34th round of the Brazilian Championship, the professionals Fabrício Bento and the technical coordinator, Marquinhos Santos, will assume the activities together with the technical team of the club.

Leão is the runner-up in the Brasileirão, with 28 points in 33 matches played. The Santa Catarina team is six points away from Ceará, the first team outside the relegation zone. The team faces Cuiabá in a direct duel for the next round.
