According to the press service of the Birmingham club, the Spaniard Unai Emery, who previously led Villarreal in his homeland, became the new coach of the team.
The English club has already paid the bosses of the “yellow submarine” 7 million euros for the purchase of a special contract. Emery will receive 6 million euros per season in his new job.
The duration of the agreement between the parties was not reported. The new head coach plans to assume his duties on November 1 after receiving a work permit.
