Manchester United manager ten Hag will allow Ronaldo to play if he apologizes

The Portuguese must come to terms with the fact that he is already just a rotation player

Manchester United head coach Eric ten Hag will allow the attacker Cristiano Ronaldo to the games if he apologizes for his demarche during the Premier League match against Tottenham.

According to The Athletic, ten Hag also requires the Portuguese to accept the role of rotation player until the end of the season. Otherwise, Manchester United will release Ronaldo in January.

Earlier, ten Hag said he was counting on Ronaldo until the end of the season.

In the match of the 12th round of the Premier League against Tottenham, the Portuguese remained in the reserve of the team and did not enter the field during the winning match (2:0). At the end of the game, the player left Old Trafford ahead of schedule.

Subsequently, Ronaldo was suspended from training with the first team. The player himself soon admitted his mistake and declared that he was ready to work for the benefit of Manchester United’s success.

The 37-year-old Ronaldo has made 12 appearances for Manchester United this season, scoring two goals and providing one assist.
