FC Metalist found a new sponsor

Thanks to the cooperation, the Kharkiv team will be able to finance the youth academy in Chernivtsi.

Kharkiv football club Metallist entered into a partnership agreement with Favbet, which will help the team’s performance in the Premier League, as well as ensure the functioning of the youth academy in Chernivtsi. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the General Director of Metalist Valery Griga.

“The cooperation will not only concern the performance of the club in the Premier League, but will also help ensure the functioning of the youth academy of the team, which has now moved to Chernivtsi,” he said.

At the same time, Favbet emphasized that all the company’s sponsorship contracts are primarily considered as a partnership.

“In 2022, some of Favbet’s sponsorship plans had to be adjusted – in February and March, our first priority was the safety of employees, their financial support, as well as assistance to the army. When the situation stabilized a bit, we started to return to our usual work, including partnership “, – said Denis Akimov, head of sports marketing at Favbet.

According to him, this year the company will support a number of Ukrainian football clubs both in the elite division and in the lower football leagues.

It will be remembered, earlier this month it was reported that the Favbet group of companies paid UAH 23.4 million to the state budget for the second year of a license to carry out activities for organizing and conducting casino gambling on the Internet. The company said that financial support in the form of licensed payments is now one of the most important aspects of helping the country.
