Alongside the club’s CEO, Gabriel Limathe former player explained that he expects competitiveness from the team next season, but without putting aside the existing financial problems.

Sportingly speaking, we will be competitive. We will have a good team and compete according to the tradition of Cruzeiro. We still have a lot of problems, but we’re out of the deep end. When I arrived, I said that we were in an ICU, today I would say that we went to the hospital room. The sporting result we had was very good and gives us more peace of mind to work next year“, said.

It was also the target of doubts from the fans what would be the value injected into the team for the next season. “Internally, there is already a discussion about how much we are going to inject into football to make Cruzeiro an important team next year.”, said Ronaldo, without specifying in numbers.

We’re going to look for a team that fits on the pitch, but we won’t do budget crazy things, rigid in this control, because it’s the only way for Cruzeiro to remain sustainable. A step bigger than the leg is very dangerous. We want to build a winning and sustainable Cruise in the long term”, analyzed.
