Pitmen guaranteed themselves European Cup spring
Defender Miner Valery Bondar said that the team is happy to enter the spring part of European competition. The Pitmen’s main goal is to reach the 1/8 finals Champion Leaguein.

Shakhtar played a draw with Celtic (1:1) in the fifth round of the Champions League. The Pitmen scored 6 points and are third in Group F.
In the sixth round of the Champions League , Shakhtar will play against Leipzig on 2 November . To qualify for the Champions League playoffs, the Pitmen need to win.
