Executive Director “Monza” Adriano Galliani confirmed that the player of the team Pablo Marie is in stable condition.
The defender, who is under contract with Arsenal London, was the victim of an attack in a shopping center near Milan. A Spanish footballer suffered a deep gash in the back after being stabbed by a man which injured three other people. The player was transported by rescue helicopter to hospital.
Galliani, in an interview with RAI2, said the injury was deep, but did not affect any vital organs.
“He will be better soon. He has muscle injuries, but he is conscious,” added Galliani.
Marie has played eight games for Monza this season and scored one goal.
