Cherchesov’s Ferencváros reached European Cup qualifiers for the first time in 47 years

Hungarian Ferencvaros who trains Stanislav Cherchesov , tied with Monaco in the Europa League group stage 5th round tie and reached the tournament playoffs from first place in the group. The Group H meeting took place in Budapest and ended with the score 1:1.

Ferencváros scored 10 points and qualified for the Europa League qualifiers from first place in the group.

For the first time since 1975, the club reached the European Cup qualifiers. That year, Ferencvaros reached the Cup Winners’ Cup final, where they lost to Dynamo Kyiv (0:3).
