Head Coach Ferencvaros Stanislav Cherchesov called the Hungarian club’s exit from the Europa League qualifiers an interim result.
This week, Ferencváros drew with Monaco (1:1) and secured first place in the group with 10 points. Monaco, Trabzonspor and Crvena Zvezda claim second place.
– There is an intermediate result – we left the group from the start. I am happy that this allows us not to play the 1/16 finals. But there is no time for this joy. On Friday, already at nine in the morning, I was at work with the coaching staff, had a training session, took pictures for marketing, and on Sunday the game started again. Ferencváros have passed the group stage of European competitions for the first time in 47 years.
