Veres is in 7th position in the UPL
Veres’ mentor Yuri Wirth commented on the defeat from Kolos (0:2) in the 10th round of the championship of Ukraine. The coach of the Rivne club emphasized that his wards lacked realization.
“It was a good fighting game. Against a good opponent. In football, the most important thing is the result. Today we have not achieved it. Although we demonstrated good football, we had scoring chances. Unfortunately, we did not implement them. Somewhere luck has turned its back on us. Barbell, crossbar… And the opponent punished us. As soon as possible,” said Wirth.
“In the episode with the first goal, our defenders did not finish the game. Gave it easy to score. The second goal was the result of a standard position. This is our misfortune – we miss after the standards.
“The game is good, but in football the most important thing is the result. Therefore, we will try to correct these errors. And I would like a better percentage of implementation.
Veres is in seventh position in the UPL standings, the team has 14 points. In the next round of the Ukrainian Championship, Wirth’s men will play against Metalist 1925 on November 5.
