Grandstand “B” of Kazan Stadium “Ruby” will be closed for the next match due to the behavior of the fans, this decision was taken by the Control and Disciplinary Committee of the Russian Football Union (FTC RFU).
– The punishment was given for the fans’ repeated (eighth time) use of profanity in the Premier League 16th round game against Baltika (3:3), – FTC chief Artur Grigoryants said told reporters.
Also, Rubin’s coach Oleg Kuzmin was suspended for three matches and fined 150,000 rubles for blasphemy and insulting the referee during the match with Baltika.
Rubin is fifth in the MELBET First League standings with 27 points from 16 appearances. Kazan will face Dynamo Makhachkala (November 6), Enisey (November 12) and Ufa (November 19) in the next three matches.
