Former head coach of the national team Andriy Shevchenko spoke about it in an interview with Ukrainska Pravda. According to him, ours is supported around the world in this difficult time. And everyone is trying to help.

“More than 100,000 families are willing to receive Ukrainian refugees. The only problem in the UK is paperwork. Because the UK has left the European Union, and everything is easier there.

And, of course, what the countries of the European Union are doing now, especially our neighbors represented by Poles, Romanians, as well as Hungarians, Italians, Germans, Austrians, helps greatly. Poland, of course, plays a big role here.

In the UK, to fix everything, you need to prepare a certain number of documents and wait. So, for my part, I have already filled out these documents, I have invited two families, most likely, tomorrow or the day after I will invite a third.

My heart is crushed. I am constantly in touch. I know what is happening in Mariupol, I know what is happening in Kharkov, I know what happened in Bucha, I know how Kyiv was bombed. No word.

First of all, I am proud that I am Ukrainian. I am proud of how proud our military is of our country. I am proud of our President to take responsibility. He rallied everyone around him.

And I am proud of how heroic we are in defending our country. I want to ask everyone for patience, perseverance, faith.

We will definitely win. We should all be together, we should be one. And, of course, Glory to Ukraine! ”Said Shevchenko.
