The list of 10 contenders for the award for best football player of the year at the Globe Soccer Awards has become known, reports the press service of the award.
Number of nominees includes ‘Ballon d’Or’ winner Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema forward Lionel Messi , Kylian Mbappe (both Paris Saint-Germain) Cristiano Ronaldo (“Manchester United”), Erling Holland (“Manchester City”), Robert Lewandowski (Barcelona) Sadio Mane (Bayern) and Mohammad Salah (Liverpool), goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois (Real) and midfielder Luis Diaz (“Liverpool”).
Carlo Ancelotti (Real Madrid), Abel Ferreira (Palmeiras), Renato Gaucho (Gremio), Josep Guardiola (Manchester City), Jurgen Klopp (Liverpool), Jose Mourinho (Rome) and Stefano Pioli (Milan).
The list of nominees for the Most Improved Player award is as follows: Julián Alvarez (Manchester City), Jude Bellingham (Borussia Dortmund), Eduardo Camavinga, Federico Valverde (both from Real Madrid), Gavi (Barcelona), Rafael Leau (Milan), Victor Osimhen (Napoli).
The award ceremony will take place on November 17 in Dubai.
