Mikhail shared first place with Ousmane Dembele

Shakhtar winger Mikhail Mudrik set the 2022/23 Champions League group stage record for running speed.

In the match of the 5th round of the Champions League group stage with Celtic (1:1), Mudrik reached a speed of 36.6 km/h. The Ukrainian shared the first place with Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele.

In addition, Mudrik set a new speed record in the Miners camp since tracking this indicator. The previous record was 34.9 km/h.

Recall that Mykhailo Mudryk became the second youngest Ukrainian who managed to score in two Champions League matches in a row.
