From Argentina to Italy. What prompted you to join the Parma project?

“From the very beginning, I liked this project, because I was in Serie A and there is a club that is ready to bet even on young players: I did not hesitate to agree. What I was looking for was the road to Europe. I took advantage of the opportunity that Parma gave me, I am really very grateful to the club for that.”

However, difficult seasons since your arrival: how did you get through relegation and an unsatisfactory championship in your first two years?

“It was not easy, because for the first time I had to go through a relegation with the team, and I was very worried, I came at the wrong time for the club. Then I got injured, which were very serious, and I was out of the field for a long time.

The seasons are actually difficult even on a personal level, now is the tipping point. What has changed since the arrival of Mr. Pecchia?

“With his arrival, Mr. Peccia gave me confidence that I can get back on the pitch and prove my worth to help improve the team. Like I said, the injuries were bad for me and I was angry at myself for not being able to get back on the field as soon as possible, but now I’m back and I feel stronger than before. I changed my mind and way of thinking.”

The square wants to get back to A as soon as possible. Do you feel pressured and, in a sense, obligated to win by force?

“There is always pressure because every player wants to play in Italy’s top league and if you don’t feel pressure it means you’re not giving it your all. There is always a commitment to win matches, that’s our goal today. But I think it’s game after game. Now our main thought is the Citadel.”

What league do we see in Serie B?

“In the whole Serie B in every country, not only in Italy, it is difficult to play because it is a different kind of football, very blocked and everyone wants to be in front of the table. We will do our part.” “
