Flamengo seeks a draw with Juventude for the Brasileirão

At home, Juventude scored twice in the first half and turned the score around, but gave the draw to Flamengo in the penultimate round of the Brazilian Championship.

In the end, the Flamengo sought a 2-2 draw with Youth on Wednesday night, 9th, for the 37th round of the Brazilian Championship. The already relegated club from Rio Grande do Sul had goals from Paulo Henrique and Jasonat Alfredo Jaconi Stadium. Matheuzinho opened the scoring for the red-black, and Werton left everything the same.

With the result, the rubro-negro reached 62 points and maintained the fifth place in the classification table. Champion of the Copa do Brasil and Libertadores, the Rio de Janeiro club only fulfills its agenda in the national competition. The lantern team from Caxias do Sul, already relegated, reached 22 points.

For the 38th and final round of the Brazilian Championship, which will be played next Sunday, 13th, at 16:00 (Brasília time), Juventude will visit the Ceará at Arena Castelão, while Flamengo will receive the Hawaii at Maracanã.

The game

Fla opened the scoring 50 seconds into the game, with a goal from Matheuzinho. In the bid, Cebolinha received a cross from Rodinei and arranged for the young attacker to only finish for the goal: 0 to 1. Despite the overwhelming start, the red-black saw Juventude grow in the match.

The home team turned the score around in the 42nd minute: Paulo Henrique won Cebolinha’s mark and crossed to Jadson, who deflected it with his head. 2 to 1. In the 45th minute of the second half, Cebolinha played for Ayrton Lucas, who kicked for Werton to dominate and complete for the nets: 2 to 2.
