Ascoli, Verdone: “Good experience in Frosinone. Saturday will be especially difficult.”

Two days before the championship match with Frosinone, the general manager of Ascoli spoke. Domenico Verdone, more than ten years Lazio marketing manager: “I have been working in Frosinone for more than ten years, for me this is always a special match, I have not been with them for three seasons, I have met them as a rival several times already, this will be the first as general manager. In Frosinone I had a very beautiful experience, during which we won three championships with a trip from C to A. It was an experience that shaped me as a person and professionally until today, playing an important role in a historic club like Ascoli Calcio.

On the Juventus team: “Feelings are very positive, we have a close-knit group that spends most of the time here at Picchio, from breakfast to lunch. This is primarily due to DS Valentini, as well as the coach and technical staff, who are trying to unite the group more and more.”

On the celebratory jersey that Ascoli will wear on Friday night: “It will be a historic match day because Frosinone will also be playing in a celebratory jersey. Our jersey celebrates 124 years, dating back to the 91/92 period, the last year of Rozzie’s presidency. I thank collectors, in particular Francesco Mori and Gianni Angelozzi, who have worked with our marketing department, graphic designers and Nike in recent months to accurately reproduce the T-shirt.”

For a few days, D. G. Verdone was appointed a member of the Ligue B International Rights Commission: “An important recognition for me and for the Club is that Ascoli Calcio in Ligue B has a large number of representatives, from President Neri on the Board of Directors to Vice President Dee Maso to the Marketing Commission; and now my confession, for which I thank the League and President Balata. The International Rights Commission is a very prestigious commission, League B has grown a lot in the last year and a half, there are three international players, Sky, Helbiz and DAZN, who are resuming all matches and replaying them around the world. League B movement is growing week by week.”
