Vladislav Sirenko moved up one line
Former world champion in three weight categories Vasily Lomachenko retained the top spot in the WBO lightweight rankings. The Ukrainian tops the list of contenders for the belt, which is owned by the absolute world champion Devin Haney.
Denis Berinchyk in the same category, it moved up one spot and is now in fourth place. Up one point Vladislav Sirenko — the Ukrainian is now 14th in the heavyweight. Oleksandr Usykas the owner of the WBO belt, is out of the rankings.
Lomachenko defeated American Jemaine Ortiz in his last fight. Representatives of the Ukrainian are negotiating with Haney’s team about a face-to-face fight.
Sirenko defended the WBC Asia heavyweight championship against fellow Ukrainian Andriy Rudenko in December 2021. Vladislav intends to enter the ring before the end of the year and is busy looking for an opponent.
Berinchyk will fight EBU title holder Ivan Mendy on December 3 in London. The fight will take place on the undercard of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury and Derek Chisora.
Usyk called out WBC champion Tyson Fury after defeating Anthony Joshua. According to Ukrainian promoter Oleksandr Krasyuk, the working date of the Usyk-Fury fight is February 18th.
