Atlético winger Angel Correa was not included in the final list
Main coach Argentina national team Lionel Scaloni has announced the list of players who will take part in World Cup 2022 in Qatar.
The seven-time winner of the Golden Ball will hold his last Mundial Lionel Messi. Included in the final application striker Inter Lautaro MartinezJuventus winger Angel Di Maria and Roma forward Paulo Dybala, who managed to recover for the tournament after an injury. The coach’s decision to take on an additional defender instead of a striker for the 2022 World Cup has deprived Atlético winger Angel Correa of his place.

Argentina will compete in Group C along with Saudi Arabia, Mexico and Poland. Scaloni’s team will play their first match on November 22 against Saudi Arabia.
