Neymar vents about pressure on the national team: “Unfair criticism hurts me”

Neymar opened the game on the pressure he carries for being the main name of the Selection in the last three Cups; the player believes that some charges are unfair to him

About to dispute its third world cup🇧🇷 Neymar arrives once again being the great hope of Brazil to conquer the hex. Now more experienced and living a great phase, the number 10 of the Seleção will have the opportunity to play in a World Cup without the injuries that made it difficult in past editions. Concentrated to the maximum in the competition, the ace of the PSGin an interview granted to ‘GE’, vented about the criticisms that have always haunted him during his career.

“I hear things in my career and I hear things to this day that I look at and think, meaningless. I can’t be reaching numbers today without taking care of myself in my career, without having trained, without having fought to conquer it all. I can’t be breaking records all the time, with each passing day. With every game that passes I beat a record for nothing? It’s no wonder,” Neymar said.

Dealing with the demands and responsibilities that he carries from an early age, the player believes that he is often unfairly criticized. According to him, “there are injustices for you being Neymar”. Addressing issues from his performance on the field to personal issues, the Brazilian ace understands the weight he carries for being the number 10 of the Selection, but claims that the public does not see what he gave up to get where he is today.

“I worked for it, I trained for it, I stopped doing a lot for it. In this sense, unfair criticism hurts me a lot because no one knows the reality I go through. Nobody knows about my day-to-day, nobody is there for me to do that”declared.

“People have to understand that my life is not the way they imagine it. She is the way I want her to be. I’m here for that, to break records, to try to build a history in the national team. I have already built a long history in the national team and, for sure, I want to finish it very well.”he said.
