Ukrainian s1mple is the best CS:GO player of the decade according to ESL

The top 3 included the legendary dev1ce and F0rest

Ukrainian Alexander “s1mple” Kostylev recognized best CS:GO player of the decade according to the famous tournament operator ESL.

Astralis legend Nikolay “dev1ce” Reedtz took second place in the voting, and Patrick “F0rest” Lindberg, legendary player of Ninjas in Pajamas, took third place. Note that another representative of Ukraine and ex-NAVI player Daniil “Zeus” Teslenko took the 13th position.

As part of Natus Vincere, s1mple won a number of major tournaments, including ESL One: New York 2016, ESL One: Cologne 2018, BLAST Premier: Global Final 2020, PGL Major Stockholm 2021, BLAST Premier: World Final 2021 and others. Last year, Born to Win won the third season of the Intel Grand Slam.

s1mple was named the best player in the world by HLTV twice – in 2018 and 2021. Kostylev also won a record 21 MVP titles.

In October, s1mple signed a new agreement with NAVI. The contract is for three years.

Recall that NAVI and s1mple were eliminated from IEM Rio Major 2022, losing in the 1/4 finals to the Brazilian FURIA Esports.
