Former FIFA referee Lapochkin believes the referee made the right decision to count Mikhailov’s goal against Akhmat in the RPL game

Former FIFA referee Sergei Laposhkin believes that the referee Alexei Amelin correctly counted the goal of the Nizhny Novgorod footballer “BET NN” Yaroslav Mikhailova in the match of the 17th day of the WORLD of the Russian Premier League (RPL) against Grozny “Ahmata” .

On Thursday, PARI NN beat Akhmat at home with the score 3:2. Mikhailov scored in the 20th minute, Nizhny Novgorod’s attack started with a pass from Lucas Masoero, who then stepped on the foot of player Akhmat Bernard Berisha.

– The goal was scored correctly, because Masoero passes on the right and Berisha flies in from the left. Where should he set foot? He looks to the right and quite naturally places his foot. He did not violate anything, is not to blame for the contact. He cannot fall, it is not a punishable contact. There have already been similar episodes when a player gave a pass and had nowhere to put his foot, the referees were advised not to correct fouls in these situations, – said Lapochkin on FIRST GAME.

The expert also believes that the referee mistakenly showed a yellow card to PARI NN midfielder Mamadou Maiga in the 7th minute of the match.

– These are absolutely identical episodes, and faults should not be recorded here and there. Maiga passes from the right and an opponent appears from the left. He accidentally steps on his foot. In this episode, a yellow card is displayed by mistake. Everything is footballing and natural,” added Lapochkin.

Mikhail Galaktionov’s team (19 points) is 11th in the standings, Akhmat (26) is fifth.
