Ingulets fired head coach Lavrinenko

Mladen Bartulovich will temporarily take his post

Ingulets announced the termination of the contract with the head coach Sergey Lavrinenko.

The President of Ingulets, Alexander Povoroznyuk, in his statement stressed that he thanks the mentor for his work and respects Lavrinenko as a professional.

“I want to express my sincere gratitude for many years of work and significant contribution to the development of FC Ingulets to Sergey Lavrinenko. I appreciate and respect him as a professional and just a wonderful person. I thank him for his dedication and effort. But football is always emotions and patience! And patience eventually runs out. I think not only for me, but for all the fans of the club.”

In addition, it became known the name of the coach who will be headed by Ingulets instead of Lavrinenko. Temporarily, the position of acting head coach will be taken by ex-footballer Ingulets and a number of Ukrainian clubs Mladen Bartulovich. Note that for the Croatian this is a debut in a coaching position.

Lavrinenko has been in charge of Ingulets since 2016 and propelled the team to the Premier League with bronze in the 2019/20 First League season. Also in 2019, Inhulets became the first club in the history of Ukrainian football to reach the final of the Ukrainian Cup from the second division.

This season, the club from Petrovo has won only one victory in 11 UPL rounds and is 15th in the standings.
