Mané will miss Senegal’s first matches for the 2022 World Cup

National team Senegal have to do without their star player Sadio Mane in the opening matches of the World Cup in Qatar.

The Senegalese Football Federation spokesperson says the striker will miss Senegal’s ‘first matches’ at the World Cup. Earlier, the football player was injured, but was included in the national team’s bid for the World Cup.

Senegal will have to manage without their best player at the start of the tournament and not whine too much. Hopefully we will play the first games without Sadio and win because we have 25 other players besides Sadio,” said Senegal Football Federation board member Abdoulaye Sow.

The World Cup in Qatar is scheduled from November 20 to December 18. The Senegal national team will play in a group with Qatar, the Netherlands and Ecuador.
