Former Dynamo defender included in squad for World Cup 2022
Ex-defender of Dynamo Domagoj Vida played 100th cap for Croatia.
Yesterday, Vida came on as a substitute in the second half in Croatia’s test match against Saudi Arabia (1:0). The fight took place as part of the preparation of the Croats for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
As part of Dynamo Vida, he played in 2013-2017 and played 104 matches for the club and scored 10 goals. Now 33-year-old Domagoj plays for the Greek AEK.
Recall that Vida is included in the application of the Croatian national team for the 2022 World Cup. Croatia will play at the World Cup in group F, where Belgium, Canada and Morocco will become its rivals. The finalists of the 2018 World Cup will open the tournament with a duel with the Moroccans on November 23.
