The former head coach of the Ukrainian national football team is not satisfied with the composition of the Olympic Committee.

Less than a day has passed since Andriy Shevchenko was elected as a member of the National Olympic Committee, as the former head coach of the Ukrainian national football team has announced that he is leaving the post.

According to the famous football player, he was not satisfied with the new leadership of the body, which was determined as a result of the will.

“During the most difficult time in my country’s history, I am proud to have Ukraine by my side and help in any way I can for the sake of our success.

I consider this an honorable job in the National Olympic Committee, I understand the importance of its development. At the same time, I can’t stay in NOC with this lineup.

We pay an infinitely high price for our freedom in the lives of the best Ukrainians. They should deserve it,” Shevchenko wrote.

Recall that yesterday Shevchenko became the vice-president of the NOC. Vadim Gutzeit was elected President of the organization.

In addition, two people’s deputies elected to parliament from the banned OPPL – Nestor Shufrich and Grigory Surkis – were included in the composition.
