O Fluminense announced the contract renewal of the striker and scorer, German Canountil 2025. There was already a verbal agreement between the parties, but the Argentine has a trip scheduled to Qatar, where he will follow the World Cup as a fan, and decided to anticipate the process of making the contract official for another three years at the club.
This Friday, the 34-year-old striker renewed with the club at headquarters in Laranjeiras. With 44 goals this year, Germán Cano broke several records. By reaching the mark of 44 goals, Cano surpassed Neymarwho scored 43 goals for saints in 2012, and Gabigolwhich equaled the amount of Santos for the Flamengoin 2019.
