Athletistic/ Football. FIFA President Gianni Infantino has spoken about the upcoming start of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
“Today I feel like a Qatari. Today I feel like an Arab. Today I feel like an African. Today I feel like a disabled person. I feel like a migrant. I am not a Qatari, an Arab, an African, a disabled person or a migrant, but I know what it means to be discriminated against as a foreigner in a foreign country,” Infantino said as quoted by Reuters.
The opening game of the World Cup will take place on November 20. Qatar will play with Ecuador.
France is the reigning world champion. In 2018, the tournament was held in Russia.
