President of the National Football League (FNL) Nail Izmailov believes that in the next five years in Russia, independent clubs may appear.
In early October, Izmailov, who had served as interim leader of the FNL since July following the departure of Alexander Alaev, was elected FNL president at a general meeting of league clubs. His term will be for four years.
— How realistic is it for a Russian football club to break even? Looking ahead to five years, we can really achieve the emergence of clubs that will be marketable and operationally profitable enough, – quotes the words of Izmailov “Championship”.
