Athletistic / Soccer. The organizers of the 2022 World Cup did not invite former UEFA president (2007-2015) Michel Platini to the tournament in Qatar.
“I haven’t received any invitation, except from many media, and I’m not going,” said Michel Platini, 67.
It should also be noted that Platini gave his vote for Qatar during the vote for the choice of the country which will host the World Cup.
Since January 22, 2020, Platini has been an adviser to the president of the International Federation of Professional Footballers’ Associations.
