Polish Legia fans were urged not to transfer revenue from against Dynamo to functionaries.
Polish Legia ultras closely monitored former and current Dynamo Kiev presidents Igor and Grigory Surkis. Nieznani Sprawcy issued a statement on the eve of the friendly match between the clubs, which will take place on April 12 in Warsaw.
Fans do not want the money received from the charity match to be transferred to the Surki brothers’ bank account.
“Over the past few days, we have been talking to Dynamo fans who have been contacting us about a charity match. They appreciate our support and they are grateful for any financial assistance that the warring Ukraine continues to receive from our environment.
According to the proven evidence and information they provided, the owners of Dynamo, the Surkis brothers, were always pro-Russian and cooperated with the Russians. Hryhoriy Surkis is a member of a pro-Russian political party banned in Ukraine. After the start of the war, the Surki fled to Ukraine with the money. Despite the Surki’s claims to have helped hospitals and asylums in Ukraine, there is no evidence of any support.
In connection with the foregoing, we decided not to participate in this battle. We appealed to the Legia leadership with a request to transfer the proceeds from this fight to the account of a trusted fund, and not to the account of the owners of Dynamo, the pro-Russian Surkis brothers.
People going to the battle are asked to respond to every attempt to fly a black and red flag in honor of Poland’s history, ”the ultras said in a statement.
