And now – our individual nominations:

Tour coach – Yuriy Kalitvintsev (Polesie)

With an insane percentage of points scored (95% of the possible), Polesie is in the lead in Group A, where they won first place and an early ticket to the championship round a long time ago. Even in a fairly competitive environment, with strong opponents, Kalitvintsev’s wards calmly completed their tasks and in the rest of the matches in 2022 they can experiment, introduce the game to the youth, look for new tactical finds. We should pay tribute to the coaching staff of Zhytomyr, who continues the unbeaten run of his team.

Joker of the tour – Sergey Kislenko (Polesye)

By the way, we must praise the coaches – the substitutions in this round worked at a good level, which is worth an assist from Chernivtsi Skrypnyk, a debut goal from Zhytomyr Kislenko, or just a good entry into the game from the bench of several players at once. Who will we choose? Look at the young midfielder of Bukovina in the next nomination, but we will name the striker of Polissya as a football player who was especially successful as a substitute. 24-year-old Kislenko managed to be the top scorer of the Ukrainian Cup in the composition of FC Lviv, and scored regularly for Ternopil Niva. In the Zhytomyr team, no one guaranteed him permanent participation, especially since Budkovsky took a bombarding pace from the first matches. But this season has gone topsy-turvy for Sergei – damage, competition, very little game practice. Scoring Dinaz in his fifth sub of the season is an encouraging development for a striker who is looking for himself in a new team.

Sport Arena stats: 5 league matches, 1 goal.

The best young player of the tour – Ilya Skripnik (Bukovina)

19-year-old midfielder Skrypnyk is more and more confidently entering the game of his team, in the capital, where FSK Mariupol hosted Bukovinians, Ilya came on as a substitute and took the ball away in the center of the field, redirecting an assist to Palahnyuk. It was the winning goal created by Melnychuk’s “joker”!

Sport Arena stats: 10 league games, 1 goal, 2 assists.

Tour goal – Anton Savin (LNZ → Skoruk)

We missed you? No, we didn’t get bored! Polissya performed the classic header (in the case of Kislenko, we appreciate the completion, Yanakov – all the beauty of the combination). LNZ gave a master class of aimed shots (Dolinsky’s goal is also recommended for viewing). Quoting the report: “Another bad clearance into the field led to the second goal. The situation from the outside seemed much less dangerous, but Savin’s high individual level played a role. Anton picked up the ball about 25 meters from the goal and with his right foot in a beautiful arc sent it to the goal – 0:2. Second goal with five assists.

Read later on our website an interview with a player who, playing in an unnatural position, scored himself and completed a set piece, after which a teammate scored.

Sport Arena stats: 12 league games, 2 goals, 5 assists.

The snow came for a long time and in earnest: such snowdrifts accompanied the matches of the 13th round.

Tour fact

Now congratulations on entering the championship round of Metallurg – but Kremin and Niva still have to take decisive steps, they can be squeezed out by Poltava and Prykarpattya.

A few more interesting things:

  • midfielders Dolinsky (LNZ) and Shalfeev (Metallurg) score for the second match in a row
  • Polesie scores 32 goals (2.46 on average per game) – only one team in the division scores more than two goals per game on average
  • Kalitvintsev (Polesie) caught up with Tlumak (Karpaty) in terms of the number of effective substitutions – five each

More interesting things – in the digital selection of the PFL, whose information partner is Sport Arena
