“Promes is a great player. He could have been here. But he didn’t go to Qatar just because of the criminal proceedings.
Van Gaal is right not to take him to Qatar,” said the journalist quoted by the Championship.
Earlier, the Netherlands successfully started the group stage of the 2022 World Cup, beating Senegal 2-0.
