Meet Gabriel Ramos, coach Tite impersonator

Tite’s imitator since 2018, Gabriel made the coach laugh earlier this month and intends to “soften” the image of the gaucho.

the paulista Gabriel Ramosaged 26, conquered the internet with his impersonations of the Brazilian national team coach Tite, which is now in Qatar for the World Cup. Practicing since 2018, Gabriel made the coach laugh earlier this month and intends to “soften” the image of the gaucho.

In an interview with the UOL Esporte website, the imitator says that it took many hours of training to get the exact tone of the coach’s gaucho accent. 🇧🇷I’m from Corinthians, I really liked football and, in 2016, Tite goes to the national team and in 2018 I say ‘man, someone had to imitate Tite. He will be in the national team, in the World Cup, why not?’. I started training in early 2018. For the 2018 World Cup, the imitation wasn’t 100% good, it was 60%, but it was cool. No one knew, it was kind of hidden. And I kept training”, revealed.

However, success and recognition came only later. It took four years of hard training, patience and practicing sharp hearing. In the end, he was so good that he impressed the coach himself, who invited the São Paulo player to be his “spokesman” in the squad for the World Cup in Qatar.

The “encounter” with the real Tite happened through journalist Diogo Olivier, from Grupo RBS, and Gabriel freaked out with the coach’s message. 🇧🇷While I was doing my imitation, Diogo Olivier started recording. I finished my imitation and he said he had sent my imitation to Tite. I was about to leave the studio, he said: ‘Tite replied’. He showed me a text message. I went to the hotel, freaking out with people’s reactions, and then I received an audio from Tite. Then I freaked out”, said Gabriel .

Gabriel even shared Tite’s response on social media. He hopes that his imitations will help “soften” the commander’s image during the Qatar Cup. 🇧🇷As an imitator, my idea is to expand Tite’s reach even further. I think imitation also serves to soften his image, to bring a more charismatic Tite, because I think that deep down Tite must be a really charismatic guy. must be very good people”, he said in the interview with UOL.

Tite’s impersonations made the São Paulo native popular on social media. And in addition to imitations, Gabriel — like all good Brazilians — also enjoys giving his football tips. Currently a commentator and presenter of the “Meu Timão” portal, he believes in the sixth of the Brazilian national team, mainly due to Tite’s options in attack.

🇧🇷Brazil is the favorite, for arriving with the fewest possible embezzlements, and the main rivals are suffering from this. France is losing a lot of people. Germany is in a moment of reconstruction. Just get rid of Uruguay in the round of 16 and everything is fine”, pointed out Gabriel.
