National team Ghana beaten football team South Korea during the second round match of the group stage of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The Group H match was played at the Eduction City Stadium in R Rayyan and ended 3:2 in favor of the African team.
After the first half, the Ghanaians were leading 2-0 after goals from Karim Mohamed Salisu (24th minute) and Mohammed Kudus (34th). In the second half, the Koreans bounced back with precise headers from striker Cho Kyu-sung. Soon, Kudus stood out again and brought victory to the Ghanaians.
The teams of Portugal and Uruguay also play in the quartet, they will play their match later on Monday, starting at 22:00 Moscow time. In the next round, on December 2, the Ghanaians will play with the Uruguay national team and the Koreans will meet the Portuguese.
