Representatives of the International Football Federation continue to promote a policy of double standards.

FIFA continues to try to sit on two chairs. On the one hand, the organization has suspended the national team of the aggressor country from international matches, and on the other hand, it is trying with all its might to remove any mention of the war in Ukraine.

Another annoying episode happened during the 2022 World Cup match. FIFA representatives confiscated the Ukrainian flag with the symbolism of the Azov Regiment from the Spanish fans.

The incident occurred during the match of the second round of the group round of the tournament, between Spain and Germany. And the former striker of the Ukrainian national team Roman Zozulya spoke about him.

“FIFA are victims of Russian propaganda.

Yesterday, during the match between Germany and Spain, the Spanish fans unfurled a huge flag of Ukraine with the symbols of our brave Azov Regiment. A few minutes later, FIFA representatives appeared and took the flag away because it violated some kind of standard in their heads and was allegedly prohibited.

The whole world enthusiastically watched the titanic confrontation of our defenders of Mariupol. The whole world can see who is a terrorist country and the military is an occupier, criminal, terrorist, sadist and convict. But in a zombified FIFA, they see and hear nothing.

I hope that the UAF and the Ministry of Youth and Sports will also react to such shameful behavior of FIFA representatives, and that the single-celled organisms that prohibit our flag from being raised in the stands are will apologize and finally study the history of the issue is not according to the Kremlin temniks,” Zozulya wrote on his Facebook page, attaching a photo from that match.
