The midfielder of the national team of Ukraine and the Italian Atlanta spoke about the activities of the national team and the club.

We need to work hard and adequately represent Ukraine in the international arena. This was stated by the midfielder of the national team Ruslan Malinovsky in a commentary by the Ukrainian Football Association. In addition, the Atalanta player spoke about the problems his club has experienced this season.

“I got in a good mood, because the team does not gather for a long time. In this difficult moment, everyone understands how important it is to prepare well and represent Ukraine in the international arena. Of course, we will try to get to the World Cup.

We had a difficult season at Atalanta because there was a COVID, injuries to key players, a lot of newcomers came in at the start of the season. It’s not easy to show the football Atalanta has played.

We played in the Champions League for three consecutive years, but after the winter in the second half of the championship we lost a lot of points, so we didn’t finish the championship as lightly as we’d like. But the coach said, we all gave one hundred percent, but we were a bit unlucky with the referees, who canceled the goal, recorded violations. However, now that the club season is over, the boys are on vacation, so all I can think about is just the national team.

I didn’t prepare for the last Atalanta game, but I did some specific activities: one side – with the team, the second – at the gym. Last week I was preparing to join the national team. No fatigue, no problems appeared before Euro 2020. I feel good. We have to work hard to be in the match with Scotland in the best conditions, ”Malinovsky said.
