Moroccans staged riots after the defeat of the national team, the teenager died

The fans of the African team did not survive the failure of their idols to reach the final of the World Cup.

The French national team became the second finalist of the World Cup in Qatar. In the semi-final match, the current holder of the trophy, with a score of 2: 0, defeated the team of Morocco.

The fans of the African team could not accept such a result and carried out pogroms. Remember that this African country was a French colony until 1956, and therefore many Moroccans live in France. Immediately after the final whistle, they took to the streets and began destroying everything in their path.

At the same time, fans of the French national team took to the streets and celebrated the victory. Clashes broke out between the two groups.

The police, having predicted such a development of events in advance, strengthened the protection of the streets. So, hundreds of police cars were pulled into the center of Paris, and in general, about 10 thousand policemen were involved in overtime work in France.

In addition to the French capital, riots also occurred in Nice, Lyon and Brussels in Belgium. And in the city of Montpellier, a 14-year-old teenager died as a result of a fight between fans.

Police arrested more than 100 of the most active rioters.
