The Ukrainian Football Association may be excluded from membership of the international organizations FIFA and UEFA.
International organizations sent a letter to the UAF, as well as to its members Oleg Protasov, Alexei Mikhailichenko, Anatoly Demyanenko, in which they declared the holding of virtual elections in the UAF unacceptable.
According to FIFA and UEFA, it is unacceptable for a third party to interfere in the work process of the association. If elections are held, the UAF will not be included in international organizations.

We refer to your letter dated December 8, 2022 and additional events that have allegedly taken place since then in connection with the Ukrainian Football Association (UAF). We are aware that with serious concern that the members of the UAF Executive The committee was allegedly forced to sign requests to hold an extraordinary meeting of the UAF Executive Committee.
In this context, we recall the obligations of the UAF pursuant to Art. 14, para. 1 p. i) and Art. 19 of the FIFA Statutes and Art. 7°, Wed. 2 of the UEFA Statutes, to manage the affairs of the organization independently and without undue influence from third parties. Any violation of this obligation may result in the suspension of UAF’s membership in FIFA and UEFA in accordance with Art. 16 and Art. 9 of the FIFA Statutes.

It should be noted that the UAF previously denied information about the alleged preparation for the convocation of an extraordinary congress of the organization.
