The Ukrainian striker of the Belgian Brugge will not help the team in the near future.

Belgian Brugge head coach Karl Hoefkens spoke about the health problems of Ukrainian striker Roman Yaremchuk.

According to the specialist, the striker will not play this year, because he needs time to recover from the injury.

“Yaremchuk has a problem with the calf muscle. I think he will recover for the match with Genk,” the coach said.

It is worth noting that the match between Brugge and Genk will take place on January 8th. Before that, the Ukrainian will not play against Saint Truiden in the Belgian Cup (December 21) and against Leuven in the Belgian Championship (December 26).

Yaremchuk played 12 games for Brugge this season, scoring two goals and completing two assists.

Earlier it was reported that the Ukrainian footballer continued training in the general Spice group.
