Former striker for the Russian national football team and Zenit Maxim Kanunnikov told in an interview with how he reacted to the appearance Pontoon and Axel Witsel at the Petersburg club.
Kanunnikov graduated from Zenit. He made his debut for the Saint Petersburg base team in 2009 and left in early 2013. Hulk and Witsel joined the club in 2012 and left in 2016.
– In St. Petersburg, you managed to catch Hulk and Witsel. Were they impressed by the level, or was the arrival of a few tops not particularly noticed, since the line-up was already solid?
