20 year old striker “Barcelona” Ansu Fati talked about his football and his personal journey. The footballer admitted that it was very difficult for him to grow up without his father, whom he did not see in his early years.
“My dream is to go back to Guinea-Bissau and help the little kids there with things like education and finding out where I used to live. Just remember how it all was. I still haven’t failed to do that.
Growing up without my father was very difficult. He came to Spain to earn a living for us, while I stayed in Guinea-Bissau. I only saw him when I was almost seven and left my country to go to Seville. We are a very friendly family, if one person suffers, everyone suffers.
After my knee injury, I thought I would never play again. My family is Muslim, we believe in Allah and when I had an injury I prayed a lot,” Fati said in an interview on club TV.
