Ukrainian servicemen are being treated there
Ukrainian WBO International and EBU lightweight champion Denis Berinchyk visited one of the hospitals in Kyiv.
Military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are being treated at the medical facility. Berinchyk was accompanied by coach Egor Golub, assistant coach Yevgeny Ivanchuk, and adviser to the FBU President Gennady Nikolaychuk.
Earlier, the Ukrainian boxer brought a variety of equipment to our military in Toretsk, Donetsk region, and also showed his championship belt and took pictures with the fighters.
In his last fight, the Ukrainian defeated EBU title holder Frenchman Ivan Mendy in a unification bout. According to the results of 12 rounds, all judges gave victory to Berinchyk: 117-111, 116-112, 116-112.
After this victory, Denis signed a contract with Frank Warren’s promotional company. According to Warren himself, he was pleased with the fight between Berinchyk and Mendy and announced a possible entry of the Ukrainian boxer to fight for the world title in 2023.
